The Tulip Table is a truly iconic piece of table design with its central single leg and long sweeping curve between top and base. Originally designed by the influential Finnish American designer and architect Eero Saarinen in 1955.

Modern, even futuristic in appearance the tulip table succeeds at it’s original goal removing the clutter of multiple table legs. maintaining a stylish, clean and minimalist feel to a room. Eero Saarinen

Eero Saarinen (1910 – 1961) was a Finnish American architect and industrial designer of the 20th century. Famous for his varying style according to the demands of the project. Iconised for his simple, sweeping, arching structural curves and machine-like rationalism. He Set out to address the confusing and unrestful world” he observed underneath chairs and tables. A five-year design investigation led him to the revolutionary Pedestal Collection, including the Tulip Chair, which was introduced in 1958.
