Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe was born 27 March 1886, Germany. A pioneer of minimalist modern design style, a famous architect and furniture designer Van Der Rohe pushed this new style as an icon of the era. Focusing on less as more his style of using simple shapes and luxurious materials his designs quickly became modern classics.
