The Tulip Style Side Chair sets a high futuristic standard for modern furniture design.

Designed in 1956, Eero Saarinen’s goal was to remove the clutter of chair legs from beneath chairs.

The chair is elegantly supported by a single stylish stem connected to a curved swivel aluminium base. Our high quality sophisticated reproductions of the Tulip Chairs fit into any environment and look great as a set around any dining table.

Designed at the same time as the Tulip Table they look great as a set.

EERO SAARINEN

Eero Saarinen (1910 – 1961) was a Finnish American architect and industrial designer of the 20th century. Famous for his varying style according to the demands of the project. Iconised for his simple, sweeping, arching structural curves and machine-like rationalism. He Set out to address the confusing and unrestful world” he observed underneath chairs and tables. A five-year design investigation led him to the revolutionary Pedestal Collection, including the Tulip Chair, which was introduced in 1958.
